I am headed out of town next week, so I am going to try and get the remainder of these 1959 Topps cards in the mail before I leave. This means outgoing mail all week long, which also means I have to write at least three letters a day. I went ahead and did four today – Tom Qualters, Tom Carroll, Solly Hemus and Hobie Landrith – to get the week started right.
Here are your baseball card facts:
- Qualters – Tom was a bonus baby with the Phillies.
- Carroll – Tommy was a star at Notre Dame.
- Hemus – Solly once lost the batting crown of the Pioner League by .0001.
- Landrith – Hobie is a pro hockey fan.
That’s it for now. Will be back later with some more new surveys!
