
Foiles played 11 seasons in the major leagues. His best year was 1957 when he earned a trip to the All-Star Game while playing 109 games for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Blanks spent nine seasons in the major leagues from 1972-1980. After playing in 141 games for the Atlanta Braves in 1975, Blanks enjoyed a couple of solid seasons for the Cleveland Indians. He hit .280 in 104 games in 1976 and .286 in 105 games the following year. He spent one more season with the Tribe before making stops in Texas and returning to Atlanta for his final MLB season.
