1970 Topps

Boccabella appeared in 551 major league games during 12 big league seasons. A career .219 hitter, he hit 26 home runs while playing for the Chicago Cubs, Montreal Expos and San Francisco Giants from 1963-1974. He signed the card, but did not fill out the survey.

Dean was in the big leagues for parts of four seasons, three with the San Diego Padres and one with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He appeared in 101 games for the Padres in 1969, but hit just .176. He also signed the card, but did not reply to the survey.

Tommy Dean – career stats

Tim McCarver and Ron Hunt both sent their cards back unsigned. Hunt asked for a rather sizable donation for his signature and to answer the questions, which just might be out of our price range at this point as our coffers are pretty empty. Will let you know if we decide to contact him at a later date.

Jim Wynn also declined the opportunity.
