Doug Konieczny

Konieczny pitched in 44 big-league games for the Houston Astros between 1973-1977. He made his first appearance for Houston in 1973, pitching in two games in September. He was back up for six more games in 1974 then became a part of the Astros starting rotation in 1975. In his lone full season, Konieczny went 6-13 with a 4.47 ERA in 171 innings pitched. He returned to the minors in 1976, then popped back up with Houston in 1977 for the final four games of his major-league career. He pitched in the minors in 1978 before retiring following the season.
