
Negray went 6-6 in 66 games pitched between 1952 and 1958. He came up with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1952 and appeared in four games but did not record a decision. Negray spent the next two years in the minors before returning to the big leagues with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1955. He was 4-3 and made 10 starts for the Phillies that season. He pitched in a career-high 39 games for the Phillies in 1956, going 3-3 and picking up his only career saves. Negray went back to the minors in 1957 only to return to the big leagues with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1958. He pitched in four more games for the Dodgers that year before returning to the minors for good. He continued pitching in the minors through 1963, which would be the last season of his career.
