One of the 100-oldest-living players, Harrington pitched in 58 games for the Philadelphia and Kansas City A’s between 1953-1956. He went 5-5 with three saves and a 5.03 ERA. His best year came for Kansas City in 1955 when he appeared in 34 games and had a 4.11 ERA. Harrington’s professional career started in 1949 and lasted until 1961.
