
Tyrone played in 177 games for the Chicago Cubs and Oakland A’s between 1972-1977. He hit .227 in 405 at bats with eight home runs. His best year came with the A’s in what would be his final season in the majors, 1977. He played in 96 games for Oakland that year, hitting .245 with five home runs, 32 runs scored and 26 RBI’s. After spending 1978 in the minors, Tyrone left to play in Japan, where he stayed for four seasons.
