Mickey Micelotta

1954 Topps

Micelotta played in 17 games for the Philadelphia Phillies in 1954 and 1955. He had seven official big league at bats and did not get a hit. He did walk once and scored two runs. He played professionally from 1947-1961 and posted some solid numbers for various Phillies’ minor league teams, including hitting .297 with 15 home runs in 1953. Micelotta missed two years of his career (1951-1952) while serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
