1980 Topps

An all star in 1979, Bruce Bochte spent 12 productive years in the big leagues, playing for the California Angels, Seattle Mariners and Oakland A’s. In 1,538 games Bochte hit .282 with 100 home runs. His best year came while playing for Seattle in 1979. He hit .316 that season while setting career highs in home runs (16), RBIs (100) and runs scored (81).

1981 Topps

Brian Asselstine spent six seasons in the majors, playing exclusively for the Atlanta Braves from 1976-1981. In 284 games he hit .254 with 12 home runs. His best year came for Atlanta in 1980 when he played in 87 games and hit .284 with three home runs, 25 RBIs and 18 runs scored. All those numbers were career highs.

Letters sent to Marvell Wynne, Henry Cotto, Jim Gott, Jody Davis and Willie Upshaw were returned with bad addresses. Our letter to Mark McGwire was refused.
