
Cage played in 65 games for the Cleveland Indians during the 1978-1979 seasons. In 154 at bats he hit .240 with five home runs, 19 RBIs and 17 runs scored. His minor league career stretched from 1971-1980 at which point he left the states to play for the Hankyu Braves in Japan. Cage remained in the Nippon Professional Baseball League for two years before retiring from organized baseball.
