
Moore played in 289 games for the Atlanta Braves and Chicago White Sox from 1976-1980. In 774 at bats he hit .264 with seven home runs. He had one full season as the Braves’ starting third baseman, appearing in 112 games in 1977 and hitting .260 with five home runs. Atlanta released him following the season and he caught on with the ChiSox where he hit .292 in limited action in 1978, then batted .264 in 88 games in 1979. However, he only saw action in 45 games in 1980 and was released at season’s end.
